Hand Carved Tables and Chairs
At Flooders Gallery the dining tables, chairs and carver chairs are hand made from wood that is native to Scotland such as elm, beech, sycamore; something totally unique. These heirloom quality tables are hand made and finished and give a contemporary look made with traditional craft and skills. Ron Noble has a reputation in Scotland and far beyond for original and unique art design and construction, along with outstanding craftsmanship. The burr (burl) woods that Ron uses in these tables and chairs are becoming rare. The opportunity to work these woods and the chance to own items made from these woods is unfortunately disappearing. All the wood that Ron uses is from naturally dead trees. No live trees are cut for his work.
